Ranch Sorting
Numbered calves to be taken into the pen in the right order: speed, reading the herd and teamwork.
In Ranch Sorting a pair of riders separates numbered calves from the herd and takes them into the pen following the indicated sequence, against the clock. Precision and understanding with your partner make the difference.
At Jacopo Ranch you train with the ranch’s herd, in two floodlit arenas, and we run club competitions: entries are made through the ranch app.
In 2015, in Montpellier, the Italian national team with the ranch’s riders won the Ranch Sorting world championship.
