Giacomo Caruso wins again at Equita Lyon
First place in the Open division of the AFET European Show of Team Sorting at the Lyon Western Horse Show: Jacopo Ranch is back on the top step.
Jacopo Ranch brings home another important result from abroad. At Equita Lyon, Europe's biggest equestrian gathering, Giacomo Caruso and his team won the AFET European Show of Team Sorting, Open division, as part of the Lyon Western Horse Show.
It adds to a long history of wins in Team Penning and Ranch Sorting: in Lyon the team took the Open first prize and the Champion Open jersey.
The haul from the trip also includes first place in the Speed Ranch and the Open Best Time: speed, reading the herd and understanding between riders, the qualities that make the difference in Team Sorting.
The event, AFET Ranch Sorting GO 1 + Team Sorting, took place at Eurexpo Lyon during Equita Lyon (28 October – 1 November 2026).
